Bunzl Lockhart are the country’s leading distributor of catering equipment, who currently supply the largest range of light and heavy equipment available to the UK catering industry. In 2013, FSW Design worked with Lockhart to develop their Twenty Eight range of cutlery. With their industry knowledge and our design expertise we helped Lockhart to design two ranges of cutlery, Epsilon and Delta.  Drawing inspiration from nature and architecture we generated concepts into categorised style routes.

Both Epsilon and Delta were designed with different user needs and aspirations in mind. Delta, an exceptionally simple and minimalist design was conceived to accompany any dining where the focus needs to be firmly on the food.  Our aim with Epsilon  was to produce a design that maximised comfort when held in the hand. Based on the soft shapes of a sand dune the smooth rounded corners are a perfect fit for the palm of a user’s hand.
