






Tayto Park, Ireland’s leading theme park attraction wanted to create a new queue line experience for their Viking Voyage ride. FLOATING POINT working with Katapult guest experience design agency re-imagined the queue line experience using body and facial tracking technology.
Guests are taken back to the year 1014 when the Battle of Clontarf is about to begin. Odin asks visitors to fight alongside his army via a walkthrough mist hologram projection. As guests progress through the queue line they can take part in interactives to become ‘more Viking’.
The AR and XR Interactives transform the guest into their inner Viking with helmets, beards augmented onto their heads and swords and shields onto their hands, preparing them for the journey ahead, through the mist projection of Odin and his call to arms.
FLOATING POINT idealised, designed, developed and installed the interactives along with the Katapult team.
