FORMAT FESTIVAL
FORMAT is the UK’s leading international biennial festival of contemporary photography and interactive media and attracts thousands of visitors from around the world.
FORMAT wanted to develop their festival and offer portfolio reviews to up and coming photographers. The festival has many established and renowned guests that wanted to offer their professional advice and help the next generation to progress their careers with their expertise and experience.
FORMAT approached FLOATING POINT to design and develop FORMAT Portfolio Reviews where reviewers showcase their specialties and allow guests to book face-to-face reviews of their portfolios.
FLOATING POINT created a custom website and WordPress CMS that enabled both reviewer and reviewee to connect, with a design pattern created by FLOATING POINT. FORMAT were able to quickly add, modify and control the content over the microsite as the run up to the festival, the booking season and during the festival happened. With the custom WordPress modifications FORMAT staff were blown away by the ease of they could do this!
